Non-residential landlords will need to pay NRL tax. So in automatically deduct that tax before making a payment to them, follow the steps below:
Find the non-residential landlord on Gnomen > click on actions and edit landlord > head over to step 2: internal info > scroll down to the NRL tax section and select "charge tax"

Enable the NRL tax and enter a VAT number if you have one.

Now that the NRL deduction has been enabled, whenever you make a payment to the landlord, the tax will be deducted after the payment is made. If the payment is related to a tenancy the deduction will show on the landlord statements after they have been paid.
Go to accounts > make a payment.

Relate the tenancy then enter the amount that is being paid to the landlord (before the NRL tax). Once you enter that figure the NRL tax will automatically deducted and show in red text. Once you have entered all the relevant information, click pay.

You will now be able to see the NRL deduction on the landlord statements now.
