When the tenant pays rent in advanced and the money is held with the agent or if the deposit is refunded, the tenant's main account gets credited. o in order to pay rent from the main account you need to follow the following steps.
Go to the lettings page and search for the tenancy
Press actions and open up the "tenants account"
Scroll down the accounts actions on the right and select "pay rent from main account"
Select the tenancy.
Enter the amount of money you wish to use from the main account to pay the rent charge. Select the date you paid the rent (you can backdate the payment if you wish) and add in a memo. Once that is all done click on "transfer money" below and the rent charge will be paid off.
