PMS can now import XML data feed of Properties, Landlords & tenants from other sources.
For example, if you want to import data from a URL, FTP, SFTP, or a branch within PMS. The feed can import on a routine basis, automatically with 1 hours interval. You can also import the feed using an FTP through adding the details as shown in the tutorial.
Here is how you can setup the XML data feed using URL:
Choose the data feed you want to configure. Check the box you want to configure (properties, tenants and landlords)
If you want to setup automatic feed for Properties data via URL, click on the checkbox as shown in the image below and choose the option "URL" from the dropdown.
Chose the method: URL to load data from a link. FTP and SFTP to load the data file form from a FTP/SFTP server.
When configuring the auto import via URL, please enter the URL of the data feed file.
Make sure you understand the options before you check the box.
Delete all existing properties
This will delete all the existing properties data and import the new properties from the data feed.
Replace existing properties with same ID's
This option will update the data of existing properties if the ID's in the data import file matches to the ID's of existing properties in Gnomen.
