By installing an SSL certificate on your website it will be:
- more secure
- a padlock/secure site will appear at the top of the browser
- secure websites are preferred and indicated in Google’s listing
Without an SSL certificate it is easier for passwords and personal information to be obtained by hackers if your website is visited in public places or shared networks.
By installing an SSL certificate you are also taking measures, protecting your client’s data in compliance with the GDPR
If SSL certificates are purchased through our third party supplier, we will not charge for installation or any site corrections required. The cost of this if £130+VAT per annum.
